bullet  General Notes:

Jane was admitted to the Whittingham Asylum on 13 March 1905. She was reported to have been unwell for only 1 week. She was described as a lunatic. She was having delusions and spoke in a rambling incoherent manner about her electric influence and responsibilities. She took a bible and said the influences proceeded from that. She said the electric influences over all the birds she had given over to her sister-in-law.

Thomas Wright, 26 Bury Road, Birkdale, near Southport, joiner, brother to the above, states , she kept her finger on the electric bell push and would not remove it, saying she exerted her electric influence on people in that manner. She had a delusion that they suspected her of trying to poison her sister.

She died on the 25th of March 1905.
