Lancashire Evening Post 3 March 1931 Sidney Edgar Josolyne, illusionist,of Walthamstowe, London petitioned successfully against his wife, whom he married at Kirkham Register in July 1919. The couple formerly resided at Woodstock Gardens, Blackpool. Misconduct at Bolton with a man names Dunston was proved.
Sidney then married Agnes Blanche Josolyne [nee Parry who was born in 1909], an attractive young variety artist and clairvoyant, known as La Celeste. A newspaper article states that they were married in 1931 and had a child in 1935, but Mrs Josolyne lived elsewhere for some time.
The Stage 21 December 1944 Sidney Josolyne, husband of (La Celeste) is in the Westbourne nursing home, Links Road, St. Annes on Sea, suffering from a nervous breakdown. He has been seriously ill, but La Celeste says that he is making good progress now and would like to hear from friends

The Stage 28 January 1965 S E Josolyne Sidney Edgar Josolyne, inventor of the "walking through a brick wall illusion" died on Sunday January 24th. He was a personal friend of Harry Houdini. The act of La Celeste was created by Josolyne and eventually terminated by ill-health.
Sidney married Lena HALSTEAD [10118] [MRIN: 3325], daughter of Walter HALSTEAD [10075] and Maria WRIGHT [10074], in 1919 in Fylde, Lancashire, England.8017 The marriage ended in divorce in 1931.
