   Another name for John was John McCUTCHAN.

  General Notes:

John arrived in NSW from Batavia, in 1839 on the ship the Jean and married Ann in 1842 in NSW. Although John's parents are given as John and Margaret on his death certificate I am not certain that his parents are John McCutcheon and Margaret Bothwell.

His name is spelt in various ways over time his death is recorded as McCutchan. but some records record the spelling as McCutcheon.
