Elizabeth and Thomas left England and arrived in Launceston on board the ship the Indian arriving in Launceston on 31 December 1843. They had sailed with six of their children. It appears that one of them died on the voyage around November 1843.
Two of their sons became preachers, 3 daughters married ministers, and 2 others married local preachers.
