Obituary
HUGH WILLIAM APTHORP
The death occurred in the Griffith District Hospital on Monday last, of Hugh William Apthorp, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Apthorp, who was well-known-residents of the Hillston district.
The youngster was admitted to the Griffith Hospital on Wednesday last, after taking suddenly ill at the home of his parents at Melbergen, where Mr. Apthorp was employed at a timber mill. He was rushed to hospital, and when admitted, found to be suffering from pneumonia, and complications setting in hastened his death.
The funeral was conducted by the Rev. C. M. Cox in the Presbyterian portion of the Hillston Cemetery. Mrs. L. D. Wilson carrying out the funeral arrangements.
Mr. and Mrs. Apthorp have one other child a daughter, Margaret Joyce, aged twelve months
