James married Jessie CARDY [10488] [MRIN: 3759], daughter of Samuel CARDY [10625] and Mary Ann SHAVE [12213], on 7 Jul 1865 in Shanghai, China.⁸²⁵⁶ (Jessie CARDY [10488] was born about 1833 in Beccles, Essex, England, christened on 31 May 1840 in Colchester, Essex, England and died in 1872 in Colchester, Essex, England.)
