SHEEP DIPPING.
Geelong Farmers Fined.
GEELONG, Tuesday.- Charges of having failed to dip their sheep within sixty days of shearing were preferred against Alfred Henry Baker. George Robert Madden and Michael T. Wilby in the city court today.
Defendants explained to the inspector that they were under the impression that as the sheep were going to the market for sale for slaughter, dipping was not required.
Fines of £1, with 8/ costs in each case, were imposed
