RECRUITING CAMPAIGN
BENDIGO DEPOT.
Another satisfactory day was experienced at the Bendigo Recruiting Office, Pall Mall, yesterday. Out of twelve candidates eight passed the medical test, two were rejected, and two are pending. The successfull candidates were:- James Rooney laborer, Derwent Gully, Bendigo; W Albert Ford, commercial traveller, Dunedin ( N.Z.); George Whitting, railway fireman Baxter-street.
