The West Australian (Perth, WA : 1879 - 1954) Tue 2 Mar 1937 Page 13 FUNERALS. THE LATE MRS. ISABELLA CLARK. The 'funeral of the late. Mrs. Isabella Clark, beloved wife of Mr. William David Clark, of 12 Swan-street, Buckland Hill, took place yesterday morning. The cortege moved from her late residence and proceeded to the Church of England portion' of the Karrakatta Cemetery, where Canon E. M. Collick officiated at the graveside in the presence of a large gathering of friends.
Born at Winchelsea, Victoria, 66 years ago. Mrs. Clark came to this State 35 years ago, residing in Boulder for 12 years and for the past 15 years at Buckland Hill. Mrs. Clark was of a quiet and generous disposition and will be greatly missed by her many friends. She is survived by her husband, one daughter and one son.
The chief mourners were Mrs. J. D. Taylor, (daughter), Mr. H. Cashel (son). Mrs. H. Cashel (daughter-in-law), Mr. J. 'D. Taylor (son-in-law). Mrs. D. Clark (sister-in-law), Misses Irene and Ivy Clark. (nieces), Master Ernest Clark (nephew) and Mrs. J. Brandy. ' The pall-bearers were Messrs. W. J. Clarke (I.O.O.F. No. 30), H. S. Smith, Ben W. Brown. J. Brandy, P. Gray and W. Houlahan.
Among those present were Mess. G. Taylor, G. Norman, W. Binning, W. Jackman, M. Horne, J. Pascari, C. D. Roberts, J. Hayes, A. Graco, N. Weir, G. Foster, Mr. and Mrs. T. Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. E H. Murdoch; .Mesdames M C. Garbon. I. Ruggers, N. Rowe, L. Bennett, C. D. Roberts, L. Greenwood, H.L Prime, - Josephsen; Misses A. Tennent, E. Josephsen.
Many beautiful floral tributes were placed on the grave and numerous telegrams, letters, cards and personal expressions of sympathy have been received by the bereaved relatives. The funeral arrangements were in the hands 'of Mr. Horace L. Green, Cottesloe.
