Samuel Brien CASH [12732]
Samuel Bryon Cash married Sophia Grafton and in the 1861 Census prior his marriage, he stated his occupation as "stone getter" Shortly after their marriage, the couple boarded the 1500 ton ship Ivanhoe on 18 November 1862 at Southampton under Capt J. P Fillian bound for Australia in the company of 355 other Government Immigrants. In the passenger manifest of the Ivanhoe his middle name is recorded spelt as Brien. Samuel married Sophia GRAFTON [9521] [MRIN: 3124], daughter of John Henry GRAFTON [10542] and Louisa JONES [10543], in 1862 in Dudley, Staffordshire, England. (Sophia GRAFTON [9521] was born in 1839 in Stourbridge, Staffordshire, England,8369 died in 1924 in Surrey Hills, Victoria, Australia 8370 and was buried in 1924 in Box Hill, Victoria, Australia 8371.) |
