Children Florence Beatrice Darlow 1879-1918 (m 1900 Edward Good ) Edith Alberta Darlow 1881-1921 (m 1916 Edward Howard Bartholemew ) George William Darlow 1883-1972 (m 1905 Sarah Edith Allen who died in 1912) George Jnr emigrated to Queensland Australia in 1911 and enlisted in Wedderburn Victoria Australia on 10 November 1914 to serve in WW1. His Australian Service number was 816. He served in the 8th Light Horse in Egypt. He suffered various illnesses during his time including malaria, he embarked at Kantara for Australia on the ship Euripides in March 1919. When George enlisted he gave his next of kin as his mother Mary Barringer. George Jnr and his wife Sarah had one son George William Darlow (1906-1908)
George jnrs Australian war medals were posted to him at Wedderburn Victoria Australia. He seems to have returned to England in 21 December 1919 on the ship Imperator via the USA. George Jnr married Flora Wagstaff nee Thompson in 1921. In 1920 George and his mother Mary Barringer as witness signed a receipt for receipt of his Star medal, so he must have been in England at the time as his mother was his witness. In 1923 a letter was sent to him at Wedderburn, Australia, but was returned to sender
