Stealing from the Person.
Deniliquin.-A warrant has been issued by the Deniliquin Bench; for the arrest of HAROLD CATIONS, alias "BRONCHO" CATIONS, charged with stealing a green leather wallet containing two £10 notes, nine £1 -notes, two 10s.'notes, and a drover's permit, W. Scott written on it; value £80 Is., from the person of William Alfred Scott, near Jerilderie, on the 12th instant. Offender' is about 25 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, 9 stone weight, medium complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, clean shaved, one wrist-probably enlarged, a number of teeth in front of upper-jaw gold-capped; dressed in a dark-grey coat and trousers, and a light-grey felt hat; a labourer, also a disqualified jockey; frequents race courses. Complainant, William Alfred Scott, Crisp street, Deniliquin.

DROVER FOUND DEAD

DROVER FOUND DEAD WOODEND,
Wed: William Alfred Scott, 52, married, of Deniliquin (NSW), was found dead with a shot-gun wound in his chest at the side of the main Calder Highway at Woodend North this morning. A single-barrelled shotgun was beside the body. Scott, who was a drover, had been in the district for some weeks in charge of a large flock of sheep. His camp, was about two miles from the place where his body was found.
