OBITUARY.
The funeral of the late Mrs Ada Neville Faulkner, wife of Mr William James Faulkner, of Creswick road, took place yesterday, from the residence of her father Mr George Palmer, Clyde street, and was largely attended. Much sympathy was expressed with the bereaved families, who had sustained the loss of mother and daughter in a week. Numerous floral tributes were received. The remains were interred in the New Cemetery. The following gentlemen acted as pall-bearers : Cr W. Burton, Hawthorn: Cr G. Davis, Messrs R. Harvey, J.P., J. Hawkins, W. Dixon, J. Cameron, J. T. Marsh, W. Braiden, O. Heintz, S. Frazer, W. Smith, J. Cowan, S. Pearce, Alex Hall, J. Inglis, T. Leigh, G.U.O. Lodge, G. Nicol, T. Yates. The coffin-bearers were: \emdash Messrs F. Avent, G.U.O. Lodge, T. Smythe, W. Standen, and H. Lockett. The Rev. J. Best, of St. John's Soldiers Hill, officiated at the house and grave. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr C. Morris.
