OBITUARY
Mrs R. Tangey
Mrs R. Tangey of High street, Echuca, who passed away on Tuesday, February 10, at Mount St. Evius Hospital, Melbourne, was the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. D Leitch of Thyra road. She was born In Echuca and spent her early life In the Womboota district. After attending the State School for only four years she received her qualifying certificate - a record for the school. Her education was continued at Echuca High and Technical schools. She was a teacher in the Methodist Sunday School and many of her scholars still hold fond memories of her. The late Mrs Tangey nursed at Echuca District Hospital and Queen Victoria, Melbourne, securing certificates from each. She also obtained the Infants' Welfare certificate. Slncerest sympathy is extended to the husband and three young children left to mourn the great loss of a devoted wife and fond and loving mother.
