bullet  General Notes:

Richard and Sarah were married at St Michael's Church, Surry Hills, Sydney, NSW according to the rites of the Church of England by Hutton Smith King. Sarah Ann Whitehead (apparently remarried), mother of the bride gave permission for the marriage. At the time of the marriage Richard was living at Newtown and Sarah Ann was living at Riley Street Sydney. Fathers of the bride and grooms' occupations were given as wood carver and sawyer respectively. Witnesses to the marriage were Henry Evans and Elizabeth Spilsted.

Death certificate states that Richard's occupation was wood carver and that his father was Richard "Thomas" Morgan, a wood carver and that he had lived in NSW for about 40 years.
