probably adopted from Port Pirie in approximately 1886, name in a newspaper article on the death of John Chamber (father) says his name was Thomas Henry.

On his death certificate his sister Florence has advised his birth as Koorong Station South Australia and that he did not marry or have any children, however a death notice appears in the Barrier Miner from Mrs E Chambers and daughter for their loved father and husband.

DEATH OF MR. W. E. CHAMBERS
The death occurred at the Hospital this morning of Mr. William Ernest ("Wanacky") Chambers at the age of 43 years. Mr. Chambers was one of the old residents and started work in 1896 as a runner for "The Barrier Miner." He later engaged in work along the line of lode and finished in the Proprietary when he was placed on compensation under the old Act. After an interval he was placed on the now Compensation Act. His sport was confined to shooting trips outback and he was an acknowledged bushman. He will be buried to-morrow afternoon, the funeral leaving the residence of Mrs Luckman, at 104 Beryl-street, at 3 o'clock.

CHAMBERS.-The FRIENDS of Mrs.E. CHAMBERS and DAUGHTER are respectfully informed that the Funeral (motor) of their late beloved HUSBAND and FATHER (Ernest "Wanacky" Chambers) will leave the residence of Mr. F. Luckman. 104 Beryl street, TO-MORROW (Tuesday), at 2 p.m.. arriving at the Church of England Cemetery. at 2.20 p.m.

IN the Supreme Court of New South Wales.-Probate Jurisdiction.-In the Estate of ERNEST CHAMBERS late of Masonic Hotel, Bervl Street, Broken Hill, in the State of New South Wales, lately a Miner, who died 18th October, 1926 (Will dated 14th April, 1923).-TAKE NOTICE that the Public Trustee has this day elected to administer the Estate of the above named deceased ; and all persons having claims against the said Estate must render the same in detail to the under signed on or before the 24th day of December , 1926.
