conviction at Middlesex, England on 7 July 1784 and arrived in Australia on 26 Jan 1788. Arrived on the ship the Scarborough.

In 1792 and 1803 Nathaniel was granted a lease of land on Norfolk Island. In 1804 he was granted a lease on land in Sydney which was later cancelled in 1806 when another piece of land was leased.

In 1811 he was paid 46 pounds 6 shillings and 11 pence for erecting a toll house and 26 pounds 4 and 4 pence for extra work done to the watch house and toll house in Sydney.

In 1812 he was paid 164 pounds for carpenters work done at the Sydney Gaol.

On 22 April 1815 Nathanial was paid 128 pounds and 10 shillings from the police fund for fitting up two rooms in the general hospital as temporary courts of justice. he was a former carpenter at Norfolk Island, superintendent of carpenters and lumbar yard.
