A charming figure in the frock of Honlton lace covering magnolia satin that was worn by her mother at her wedding 28 years ago, Miss Berta Joan Franklin, only daughter or Mrs. H. R. George, Box Hill, and the late Mr. B. Franklin, formerly of Trafalgar, was given away by her stepfather, Mr. H. R. George, at her wedding to Alfred Voirden, younger son of Rev. and Mrs. G. A. Judkins, at Wesley College chapel on Saturday.

The bridegroom's father performed the ceremony. Misses Joyce George, Jean Ritchie and small Beth Judkins were the bride's attendants; Mr. N. Murt was bestman, Mr D. Lumsden the groomsman. The wedding dress had short puffed sleeves, and an old family veil (lent by Mrs. L. Noble) fell from the bride's head. She carried a hymn book with a book mark trimmed with water lilies. The elder maids wore frocks of old gold velvet and topknots of gold shade flowers in their hair. The little girl's frock was of lemon colored velvet. The reception after the ceremony was held at The Palms.
