Roland Pellow married Mary Rose Shedden in 1929.

WEDDING BELLS
PELLOW-LAW.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at the Healesville Presbyterian Church on Saturday afternoon, when Mr. Roland Pellow, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Pellow, of Nullawil, was joined in the bonds of matrimony with Miss Mary Law, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Law, of "Glen Astron," Healesville.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. R. Robertson, of Lilydale, assisted by Rev. F. R. Melville, Healesville. The church had been prettily decorated by girl friends of the bride, and was quite an attractive setting for the occasion. The bride looked very chic as she entered the church, gowned in an ankle length dress of cream silk lace over ivory satin, trimmed with diamontes and finished with pearl and diamonte buckle at waist, with long lace sleeves. She carried a bouquet of lily of the valley and azaleas and two horseshoes of satin and orange blossom. The train was of appliqued satin, lined with lace.

She wore her mother's bridal veil and a coronet of orange blossoms. The sisters of the bridegroom (Misses H and M Pellow) were the bridesmaids and wore lemon French silk Ace over georgette, with handkerchief ends at sides and carried bouquets of daffodils. The train bearer, little Brenda Hill, niece of the bridegroom, was frocked in Lavender georgette with frills of lace and posy of pansies. Miss Brenda Pellow, sister of the bridegroom, wore lavender georgette trimmed with lace. The bride's mother was gowned in snakeskin crepe-de-chine with navy blue marocain coat, and hat to match, and carried a bouquet of camellias.

The mother of the bridegroom wore mushroom coloured 'ensemble, silk repp and carried a bouquet of camellias. Mr. W. Law, brother of the bride, acted as best man, and Mr. E. Pellow, brother of the bridegroom, as groomsman.
After the service, Cr W J Dawborn played the wedding march on the organ, and the flower girl (Miss Brenda Pellow) strewed the aisle and path with flowers. The happy 'couple, on leaving the church, were greeted with showers, of confetti and flower petals. The reception took place at Glen Astron". Rev R Robertson presiding. The usual happy speeches were made and later the newly married couple left by car for Frankston, where the honeymoon was spent. The bride's travelling costume was cornflower blue crepe de chine, with hat to match.

The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Pellow will be at Nullawil.
