KYNETON.
After a fortnight's illness Mr. James Parsell, a very old and respected resident, died at his residence in Simpson-street. He was a native of Adelaide, and was 87 years of age.
He came to Victoria 70 years ago, and has been a resident of the Kyneton district for practically the whole of the time since. He is survived by his wife, six sons and four daughters.
The sons are John and James (Langley). Samuel and Joseph (Black Hill ). Alexander (New Zealand). and William (Gippsland) . The daughters are Mrs. J. Guthrie (Tylden). Mrs. J. McClusky ( Richmond ). Mrs. J. Thompson ( Kyneton ), and Mrs T.Hamano (Gippsland). The interment took place in the Kyneton Cemetery. Rev. Fr. Power officiated at the grave.
