MARY .McNAMARA the death occurred last evening at her residence, "Clare Valley," Collengullie. of an old resident of that district, Mrs. Mary McNamara. The deceased, who was 76 years of age, was the relict of the late Mr. Daniel McNamara, with whom she had taken up residence at Clare Valley 65 years' ago. She was born at Mt. Mirrac, near Geelong, Vic., the second daughter of the late Mr. Michael and Mrs. Quirk, of Albury, and was married at Beechworth. Her husband pre-deceased her in 1905. She leaves one son, Oliver John, of Clare Valley, and three daughters Mrs. P. J. Conway, of Collengullie, Mrs. Arthur Johnston, Flinders Street, Wagga, and Mrs G. A. Norman,- of Sydney, and nine grand children. Seven sons and three daughters pre-deceased her. Two sisters;- Mrs. .E-. McClusky, of The Rock, and Mrs. W. Walsh, of Annandale, Sydney, ' survive her. In her young days the late Mrs. McNamara was a fearless horsewoman. She dearly loved a good thoroughbred, and rode well over fences. She was devoted to her Church, and was a kind friend to neighbors in sickness or distress. The funeral leaves her late residence at Collengullie this day at 2 p.m., passing along Edward Street at 3 30. the interment taking place in the family enclosure in the old Catholic cemetery, Wagga.
