The death occurred on Friday last in Melbourne of Mr Robert Hope McAlpine, eldest son of the late Mr D D McAlpine, of Carrajung. Deceased had been ill for some time, so that his death was not altogether unexpected. The late Mr McAlpine was a successful dairy farmer, and on the death of his father, who was a director of the Yarram Butter Factory, was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Board. Deceased was 51 years of age.
