The Independent (Deniliquin, NSW : 1901 - 1946) Thu 13 Feb 1941 Page 7 LATE ALFRED PERRIN LATE ALFRED PERRIN Mr Alfred Ernest Perrin collapsed with a heart attack at noon on Friday, at the sawbench adjacent to the railway, and situated opposite his home at 47 Napier-street, Deniliquin. He was taken to his house, where he passed away at 1 o'clock that afternoon.
Mr Perrin, who was 75 years, was a native of Deniliquin. He leaves a widow and seven children Alfred, May (Mrs F. Grimmison), both of Deniliquin, Ruby (Mrs J. Hennessy, of Wollongong), and George, Bessie (Mrs W Langman), Laura (Mrs J. Ryan) and Colin, each of Deniliquin. He was a brother of the late Mr G H Perrin, Mr Jack Perrin, and Mrs Williams, of Western Australia, and Mrs Emerson, of Hay. He was an uncle of Ald C. E. Perrin.
The deceased gentleman was on the land at Woodend Vale up till about two years ago, when he retired and came to live in the town. The funeral left his late residence, 47 Napier-street for the Deniliquin Cemetery at half past twelve o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
The Rev E. A. Roberts performed the burial service. Brethren of the Loyal Deniliquin lode of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows marched in front of the hearse, and the lodge service was read by Bro. S. W. Peers. The funeral was largely attended and there were many floral tributes.

Mr. Perrin, who was 75 years of age, was born in Deniliquin. He followed farming pursuits for many years at Woodend Vale. In his younger days Mr. Perrin was a very keen cricketer. He is survived by his wife and a family of seven children.
