A very pleasant evening was spent at the residence of Mr and Mrs. W. Lacy of Landsborough street, Ballarat North on 17th of April, in honor of their silver wedding. Musical and elocutionary items were given by Messrs G. Herbert Costello, and Misses Lacy (2) andWhitle. The usual toasts were proposed by Messrs Herbert and Costello, and responded to by Mr Lacy. Mrs Lacy is the fourth daughter of the late Mr and Mrs R. Scott, of Mount Rowan and Mr Lacy is the eldest son of the late Mr W. Lacy and Mrs Engeler, of Ascot street. They were married at St. John's Church, Soldiers' Hill, in 1890 by the late Canon Mercer. Mr Albert Lacy is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Lacy, and is now on active service in the Dardanelles with the A.I.F.
