Tangey have received full information in regard to their son, Private E. W. Tangey. who was killed in action in the battle of Pozieres on July 29 1916. Private C. Sanderson, a returned soldier, who is now in the Caulfield Hospital, and who was a tent mate of Private Tangey, writes that he and Tangey went into the battle of the Somme together.
