NO. 11420.-ln the INSOLVENT ESTATE of THOMAS WILLIAMS TANGEY, of Majorca, In the Colony of Victoria, Miner.-Whereas the estate of Thomas Williams Tangey, of Majorca, in the colony of Victoria, miner, was, on the 31st day of January, A.D. 1868, placed under sequestration in my hands, by order of his Honour Mr. Justice Barry, one of the Judges of the Supreme Court of the colony of Victoria, and who, by further order under his hand, did appoint Edward Courtney, Esq., of Melbourne, one of the Official Assignees of Insolvent Estates, to be the Official Assignee of and for this estate, I hereby appoint a PUBLIC MEETING of the CREDITORS of the said insolvent to be holden before me, at the Insolvent Court-house, Collins-street west, Melbourne, on Tuesday, the 18th day of February inst, at the hour of eleven o'clock in the forenoon, for proof of debts, and for the election of an Assignee, if necessary, to act with the Official Assignee; and unless it shall be shown at such meeting that the goods and effects of the said insolvent shall exceed the sum of one hundred pounds, I shall summarily proceed to rank the debts which shall then be proved against the said estate, and direct the proceeds to be distributed accordingly. Dated at Melbourne, the 6th day of February, A.D. 1868.

Another daring hotel robbery was reported yesterday to the police by Thomas W. Tangey, licensee of the Morning Star, situate at the corner of Haines and Abbotsford streets, Hotham. Whilst the inmates were busily occupied down stairs in the evening a thief entered a bedroom, and having forced open a chest of drawers he stole the sum of £39 and some jewellery belonging to Mrs. Tangey. A description of the person suspected has been furnished to the police.

TANGEY.-On the 11th October, at his residence, Sunnyside Hotel, corner of Arden and Curzon streets, North Melbourne, Thomas William Tangey (15 years licensee of the Sunnyside Hotel), aged 74 years.
