Louisa died in hospital in Melbourne aged 39 years of rheumatism morbis cordis. The informant was the hall porter at the hospital and there are no parents known, and details of marriage and children are marked as not known. The certificate states she was born in London and had been 14 years in Australia, however, Louisa and William immigrated to Australia arriving in early 1856, somewhat less that 14 years earlier on the ship the Roxburgh which arrived in Port Phillip in 1856
