THE LATE MRS. M. RILEY.
The funeral of the late Mrs. Margaret Riley, wife of Mr. George Henry Riley, late hon. secretary for the School for the Blind; and an old resident of Perth and the Eastern Goldfields, took place on the 21st ult., and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. The cortege moved from deceased's late residence, 124 Pier-street, Perth, and proceeded to the Anglican portion of the Karrakatta Cemetery, where the remains were interred, the Rev. Minor Canon Patrick officiating. The chief mourners were Mr. George Henry Riley (husband), Messrs. George, Wilfred, and Reginald Riley (sons), Mr. E. B. Grimm (son), Mrs. E. B. Grimm (daughter-in-law), Misses Grimm ( 3) (grand -daughters) , Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Wood's and Miss Lavina Woods (daughter, son-in-law, and grand-daughter), Mr. and Mrs, W. Swindon (daughter and. son-in-law), Mrs. E. Riley (daughter-in-law), Mrs. E. Grimm (niece), and Mrs. S. Rewell (cousin). The pall-bearers were the Rev, G. T. Caton, Messrs. R, .Hill, G. E. Hollingworth, R. J. Bowen, R, Hill, Wm. Rewell, C. C. Wicks, and J. Verrier, Among those present were Messrs. G. Wood, M Olsen, W. C. Rewell, A. S. Riconi, R. Sherwood (representing Goode, Durrant and Co.), F. Jose, arid R. Evans (representing the Government Printing Office), R, G. Ide and W. Glanfield (representing the School for the Blind), Mesdames Ettie Hewitt, F. Beales, L. West, F. Giddons. Ambrosius, Brodie, Olsen, Misses E. Machin, Reece, and E. Brodie. Numerous wreaths and floral tributes were placed on the grave by friends and relatives, and a large number of letters, telegrams, and messages of sympathy and condolence were received by the bereaved family. The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Messrs. Bowra and O'Dea,
