Obituary. MRS CRUIKSHANK
Deep regret was expressed when it became known that Mrs Cruikshank of Witchipool, had passed away on May 5. The deceased lady had been a colonist for 60 years and up till about two years ago, with her family, engaged in farming pursuits at Carron, but at the time of her death, was residing at Witchipool. In the early days the family resided at Stawell. The deceased had never had a day's illness prior to the general breakdown her health which proved fatal. She recently visited Melbourne, and on her return she felt ill. Her condition gradually became worse until death relieved her of her suffering. The remains were taken to Stawell by motor car, and interred in the Stawell cemetery alongside those of her husband and daughter, who pre-deceased her by some years. She leaves behind to mourn her loss, three sons, to whom the deepest will be extended. 7525
