Before Messrs. D. L. Collings and A. W, King, J's.P., at the police court on Monday, Clement Joseph Wilson, of Portland, and William George Rowland, of Lithgow, were each proceeded against by the local police for offensive behaviour at the Lidsdale Dancing Palais on April 17. A fine of £3, or six days, was imposed in each case. On a charge of using indecent language at the same place and time, Noel Gordon Cameron, of Portland, was fined £3, or six days.

Youth Has Mask, Revolver For Stick-Up

A youth aged 18, who stole a loaded revolver, made himself a black mask and told the police he intended to 'stick someone up' was brought before the
Perth Police Court today.

The youth, John William Greaves, laborer, pleaded guilty to six charges. He was sentenced by Mr. T. Y. A. Lang, P.M., to six months' imprisonment.
The charges against Greaves were a that, at Perth.- he stole, a revolver .and a pair of binoculars belonging to Reinzi Heroy Charles Deacon, a watch valued at £1 10s, the property of Clement Joseph Wilson, and a pair of trousers and braces valued at £1 10s. the property of Reginald Thomas.

He also admitted that he had unlawfully in his possession a thing capable of being used as a disguise, a black mask, and a shirt suspected of having been stolen.
Another charge against him was that he unlawfully, assumed control of a motor car belonging to George Leslie Brodericks.
