Murray Bent COLLIHOLE [1049] ¹⁹²⁷

  General Notes:

Murray lost an arm in 1924 when he was shot by a gun he was carrying. The arm was badly damaged and had to be amputated. A newspaper article appeared in the Melbourne Argus.

BOY ACCIDENTALLY SHOT
A lad named Murray Collihole, in the employ of Mr. S. Berkin, Strangways, was returning to the homestead after being out shooting hares, and when the act of crossing a fence the gun was accidentally discharged The boy's right arm was badly injured from the wrist to the shoulder.
He was immediately conveyed to the Castlemaine Hospital.
