We regret to have to record the death of Miss Annie Bannan, which took place at her mother's residence, Kerang East, on the 28th inst. Miss Bannan has now been suffering for some time from consumption, and for the past few weeks it has been evident that the termination of the disease could not be far distant.
Although her death has not been altogether been unanticipated it is more or less surrounded with many sorrowful circumstances, and widespread sympathy is felt for the mother and the members of her family. The deceased young lady, who was 21 years of age, endeared herself to all those around her by her natural sweetness of disposition, and the patience with which she endured the suffering
which her long and painful Illness entailed. The funeral will leave her mother's residence this morning at 10 o'clock and arrive at Kerang cemetery at 2 p.m. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Messrs. Adams and Sons. 300
