Ray served in the Australian Army for a number of years and had several overseas postings including 2 years in Malaya,(early 1959 - 1961/62). He worked as a heavy duty mechanic/fitter until they retired to a 10 acre hobby farm out Lancelin, 90 Km north of Perth in W.A. Due to illness(alzheimers) of his wife Enid, they had to move back to Perth to be near medical facilities. Dads used to get on the computer to me daily (learning), and Mums holding her own in a facility that is able to look after her daily needs.
Unfortunatley Dad passed away 12/10/2001. Pics will be posted at a later date.
He first married Elaine Dorothy HORNER(ADP.NEE WATSON) - 1232, daughter of Gordon Thomas Keith HORNER - 2770 & Lillian May BRAY - 2771, 23 Mar 1950 in Albany W.A.. -Born 18 Aug 1932. They were divorced 21 Oct 1958.
