Thomas's death certificate states his first marriage was in Melbourne when he was aged 32 to Esther Welch and second marriage also in Melbourne at the age of 64 to Catherine Parsell. He had no children by his first marriage and Michael aged 11 years in his second marriage. The death was registered by J G Scott, authorised agent.
