General Notes:
Don turned his hand to many jobs over the years. I remember him working at a quarry at Garfield North, as a farmer, and as an orchardist. I remember him working at the Thompson Dam during it's construction and also working for many years at the Shire of Pakenham. He worked at Shire of Pakenham waste disposal facilities for a time as well after he retired from the Shire.
I can remember Don starting a worm farm when they lived at Archer Road and selling worms.
Don was a good footballer and I remember him Playing for Garfield when I was young.
