The birth of Susannah was not registered. Her older brother and sister were registered in SA and the younger brothers and sisters were all registered in Victoria, but Susannah's birth seems to have been missed. In March 1996 I obtained copies of baptisms at a Church in Carisbrook Victoria from a Mrs Elaine Stevens and this had baptism details for the three older Cruickshank children, including Susannah, giving their dates of birth.

Susannah's first husband, John Phillip Lucas's great grandparents, Nathaniel Lucas and Olivia Lucas (Gascoine) arrived in Australia, as convicts, on the first fleet on 26 Jan 1788.
Susannah and John Phillip Lucas were married by a Congregational Minister at Maryborough. Witnesses were Martha Jane Allen and Hannah Lucas.
At time of death Susannah was living at 125 Brunswick St. Fitzroy.

Cummins, Mrs. C. James, H. Cruickshank, G. Cruickshank, D. Cruickshank, and Mrs. C. Coban (W.A.), aged 72 years.
