A WEDDING of local interest took place last Saturday afternoon at 4.30 p.m. in the Methodist Church, Sydney Rd., East Brunswick, when Claude A. Gerbing, of Briggs Cres., Noble Park, and Valda Shirley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Miller of St. Phillip St East Brunswick, were married. Mr. C. Foubister, of Rich Av., was best man and Mr. G. Gerbing, brother of the bridegroom, was groomsman. The Breakfast was at the Parish Hall, Glenlyon Rd., East Brunswick. Many friends here wish them every success.

Son of Claude (dec. ), brother of George (dec. ), dearly loved and loving husband of Valda, loving father of Shirley, Robyn, Bruce and Glenys. Loving father-in- law of Alan, Bill and Lynne. Friend of Jamie, loving Pa of Andrew, Kristy, Justin, Laura, Christopher, Stephanie, Caitlin, Katharyn, Rebecca, Michelle, David and Cameron. Great- Grandpa of Charlize.
