The death occurred at the Wangaratta Public Hospital on Monday of Mr. Alfred Trueman. The deceased, who was 71 years of age had resided at Chiltern Valley for some years. He leaves a family of seven, viz., Henry Percy, Stanley Herbert (Corowa), Austin Edward, Arthur, Olive May, Ruby Florence, Alma Myrtle.

Alfred married Eleanor Ruby SHUTTLEWORTH [5397] [MRIN: 1691], daughter of William SHUTTLEWORTH [3630] and Elizabeth SLATER [3629], on 28 Jul 1881 in Maryborough, Vic, Australia.³⁸¹⁸ (Eleanor Ruby SHUTTLEWORTH [5397] was born on 14 Oct 1862 in , Victoria, Australia ⁴⁹⁴⁴ and died on 26 May 1915 in Wangaratta, Vic, Australia ⁴⁹⁴⁵.)
