OBITUARY
MR. JOHN FREDERICK RAWSON
The death occurred on Friday night, following some monhs of illness, of Mr. John Frederick Rawson (76), well-known western personality, who has lived in retirement at Dubbo for 12 years.
Before coming to Dubbo he was for 43 years a prominent grazier in the Trangie district with large and important holdings. At Dubbo he acquired many interests in the commercial affairs of the district.
He passed away at his private residence, "Beulah," 336 Macquarie Street,
Dubbo. Born at Inverleigh (Victoria), deceased was married at Ingleby, via Lockhart, to Miss Annie Rawson, who survives together with one son and one daughter, Mr, William Rawson (Trangie) and Mrs. Alice Pearce (Dubbo).

His mother, Mrs. A. Rawson, who is aged 98 years, resides in Melbourne.
A family of brothers and sisters also survives.
Following a private service at the residence, the funeral took place in the Baptist portion of the Dubbo cemetery. The Rev. W. S. Cowling officiated at the service and graveside.
John married Annie RAWSON [621] [MRIN: 195], daughter of John RAWSON [494] and Hannah FAULKNER [294], in 1891 in , NSW, Australia.1248 (Annie RAWSON [621] was born in 1873 in Inverleigh, Vic, Australia 1249 and died in 1965 in Corrimal, NSW, Australia.)
