St. Luke's Church of England. Hopetoun, was the scene of a pretty wedding on October 20, when William John, second youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. Byrne, of Horsham, was married to Elsie Merle. fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Franklin, of Hopetoun. The Rev. A. G. Rowley officiated.
