JEREMIAH. -On December 15, at Koo-wee-rup, Eliza Ellen, the dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas Alfred Jeremiah of "Colanver," Pakenham South, and loving mother of Alf, Elsie (Mrs. Blackwood), Evelyn, Gladys (Mrs. Chaundy), Mervyn, Len, Alan, Roy, and Vernon, aged 68 years. - At rest.

MRS. E. E. JEREMIAH
AFTER TWO YEARS of ill-health, Mrs. Eliza Ellen Jeremiah, 68, of "Collanver." Pakenham Sth., passed away in the Kooweerup Hospital on December 15th. The late Mrs. Jeremiah was born in Kooweerup and had lived in the district for the past 40 years. Her many admirable qualities endeared her to all and she is widely mourned. Her husband, Thomas • Alfred, pre-deceased her. some years ago but six sons and three daughters survive her. The funeral to the Pakenham cemetery on Monday was largely attended. Three sons, Len, Alf and Mervyn, and one son-in-law, Arch Blackwood, carried the casket. The Rev. W. P. Daunt conducted the grave side service. W. J. Garnar and Son directed the funeral.

We regret to have to record the death of Reginald Jeremiah, third eldest son of Mrs. T. Jeremiah, of Pakenham South, which took place at the District Hospital early on Monday morning. We extend our deepest sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.

Former Pakenham South Resident Passes On June 13th, the death occurred at Fern Tree Gully, of Mrs. Frank Chaundy, a former well-known resident of Pakenham South. Deceased, who was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. Jeremiah, of Pakenham South, had not been well for the last 18 months. Born at Hastings 47 years ago, she left there at the age of four to live at Pakenham South. After 20 years in that district she moved to Fern Tree Gully. She was the loving sister of Alf., Elsie (Mrs. A. Blackwood, dec.), Evelyn (Mrs. T. Light, Bayles), Merv, ("Reg.," dec.) Len, Alan, Roy and Vern.
The funeral, which took place at Fern Tree Gully on June 15 was largely attended. Deceased's four brothers acted as coffin bearers, and the pall bearers were Messrs. A. Mclntyre, F. Lomax, J. Baird, J. Murphy, R. Armitage, A. Mayor and K. O'Rourke. The Rev. Pratt conducted the burial service, and funeral arrangements were carried out by W. J. Garnar & Son Pty. Ltd. ,
