Grlbble, and sister of Mrs. Margaretta Dore, are respectfully invited to follow her remains to the place of interment, the Presbyterian Cemetery, Karrakatta. The Funeral is appointed to leave the residence of her nephew, Mr. Harold Dore, 83 Heytesbury-road, Subiaco, at 2.45 o'clock TO-MORROW (Tuesday) AFTERNOON, per road. LATE MRS ANN GRIBBLE. ' The funeral of another old colonist took place recently in the person of Mrs Ann Gribble, of 33 Barlee Street, Highgate Hill, relict of the late Mr James Gribble, sister of the late Mrs M, A. Goldwyer, and aunt of Mrs T. Brown, of Bunbury.
The deceased was born -at Flora Ann, Malta and arrived in this State with her mother and 'step -father (William Glanville), in 1851, by the sailing ship Pyrenees. She was then 12 years of age, and was 81 years of age at her death. In a quiet unobtrusive way she interested herself in many charitable works-, and by her good, sterling qualities endeared herself to all who came into contact with her.
The cortege moved from the residence of her nephew, Mr Harold Dore, 83 Heytesbury .Road, Subiaco, and proceeded to Karrakatta Cemetery, where the remains were interred, the funeral service being conducted by the Rev. A. Marshall.
The chief mourners were Mrs M. Dore (sister), Messrs H. J. G, Edwards, W. J* Smith, Harold Dore, C. Haynes, Haywood Smith, Glanville Edwards, and Basil Morris (nephews) ; Mrs W. J. Smith, Mrs C. Haynes, Mrs H. Dore, and Miss Q. Edwards (nieces). The pall-bearers were : Messrs E. K. Bryne, A. J. Proud, V. Traunce, and C. J. Delamare.
