Lorna died at Ellery House, Castlemaine. Her husband Gordon predeceased her. Her son Neil had also predeceased her.

Her daughter Carmel married Bruce Berry and her grandchildren were Jan, Brian and Kerry; Kathleen and Brett. She was great Grandmother of Nathan, Zeth (Dec) and Amy. She was buried at the Castlemaine Cemetery on Tuesday February 24th 2009 at 10.30am after a requiem mass at St Mary's Catholic Church, Castlemaine.

GRANT. - A Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of the late Mrs Lorna Mary Helen Grant will be offered at St Mary's Catholic Church, Hargraves St, Castlemaine, on TUESDAY (Feb. 24) at 10.30 a.m. The cortege will leave at the conclusion of Mass for the Castlemaine Cemetery.
