Data from another researcher states as follows:- born first quarter 1863 Eliza Holman in Redruth, Cornwall on 18 Jun 1863 the 1900 ton ship Accrington sailed from London to Lyttelton, New Zealand, under Cpt Christie, docked 5 Sept 1863. Passenger list (which contained a LOT of cornish folk) lists Edward Holman 24yrs Mary Ann Holman 22yrs Eliza Holman 4mo. New Zealand BDM records list deaths 1863 - Eliza Holman age 9mo. (rec# 1863/2995). searching NZ BDM records fails to find any other records that matches the names and ages of Edward, Mary Ann or Eliza, including any possible remarriage record for Mary Ann Holman/Barkell/Bartle/etc etc.
Several Children one of them was a clergyman at Berringa at the time of his mother's death.

HOLMAN.- The funeral of the late Mrs. Edward Holman, formerly of Eaglehawk, took place at the Eaglehawk Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. The body was brought from Berringa by her two sons, Ernest and Edward, and was laid to rest beside her husband. The Rev. W. J. Bottoms officiated at the graveside. The funeral arrangements were made by Mr. W. H. Oakley, of Bendigo.

After a lingering illness, death claimed Mrs Mary Anne Holman, who resided with her son at Berringa, at the advanced age of 81 years. The deceased, who was of an unassuming disposition, had been an invalid for some time. The remains were conveyed to Bendigo, and were interred in the Eaglehawk cemetery, the burial service being conducted by Rev W. J. Bottoms.
