  General Notes:

William Faulkner came to Australia on the ship "Dale Park" 420 tons. The ship sailed from London on 16 March, 1844 and from Cork on 31st March, 1844 and arrived at Port Phillip on 21 July, 1844. He came to Australia with his family.

John died on 19th June 1844 aboard ship of infantile .....?.....

The family was said to have "forwarded to Geelong" upon leaving the ship.

William and Ellen married in the Presbyterian Church at Camperdown, witnesses to the marriage were George Faulkner and Jane Faulkner.

In the 1875 Post office Directory, William is described as a sheep farmer of Inverleigh. In 1880 William and his brother George were said to be farmers of "Doroq", Inverleigh. In 1884-5 George was said to be a grazier at Inverleigh. In 1891-92 William is a farmer at Inverleigh also in 1893-94, 95-96, 97-98, and 1899-1900.
