The remains of the late Mrs Charlotte Crocker, of Raglan, were in terred in the Beaufort Cemetery on Monday, the funeral being attended by a number of friends of the deceased. The coffin-hearers were Messrs R. Pitcher brother of deceased), W. Pitcher (nephew). A. Crocker (brother-in law), T. Tiley. E. Tiley, and Fred Tiley. The pall-bearers were Messrs Alex Pitcher, Melrose Pitcher, Edwin Pitcher, and Robt. Pitcher (nephews of deceased). The Rev W. C. Wood read the Church of England burial service. Mr A. H. Sands, undertaker, Beaufort, carried out the mortuary arrangements . OBITUARY. An old and respected resident of Raglan in the person of Mrs Charlotte Crocker, wife of Mr James Crocker, died at that place on Saturday at the age of 65 years. The cause of death was pneumonia, the illness being of seven, days' duration. The deceased leaves a widower and grown-up family of six to mourn their loss.
