1959 - Founder of The Vasey Housing Association, New South Wales which provides housing for war widows, ex-service women, and those with strong service affiliations.
2001 - Inducted onto the Victorian Honour Roll of Women.
2008 - Inducted onto Victorian Honour Roll of Women.

Vasey died of cerebral thrombosis on 22 September 1966 at Grafton, New South Wales, while on her way back to Melbourne after visiting guild members in Queensland. She was buried with Presbyterian forms in Lilydale cemetery. She was survived by her younger son Robert, George having died from an aneurysm on 5 November 1960.[1][20] Robert Alan Vasey died on 21 September 2008.[21]

Taylor, when she was married to Mr. Edward Valentine Hall youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Hall, of Crowlands. via Ararat, last week at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Footscray.
The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Tom Taylor. Rev. R. Stephens performed the ceremony. The bride's Brussels lace veil, lent by Mrs. J.Wellord, was held with camellias, and she carried camellias, hyacinths, and azaleas. Miss Estelle Smerdon, bridesmaid, was in a gown of blue marquisette, and she carried an 1830 posy. Mr. Alex. Tucker was best man. A reception was held at Toolorac, Droop st., Footscray.
