In 1884-5 George was said to be a grazier at Inverleigh. In 1891-92 William is a farmer at Inverleigh also in 1893-94, 95-96, 97-98, and 1899-1900.

Victorian BDM online search states this William, parents unknown and age at death 24 years. This would be the correct age for this William's son also William. This requires verification. However there is a death in 1872 of another William at Hampton who is said to be 40 years old at the time, so this could be the son William. William was deceased before 1887 when his wife died as she is referred to as the relict of William Faulkner in death notices. I have found no death to match this William adequately at this time.

Arthur served in WW2 and told amazing stories of his exploits during the war. Arthur served a total of 1618 days in the services from 5.8.1941-25.10.1942 in the CMF, and in the AIF26.10.1942 until discharge in January 1946, Active service in Australia totalling 1025 days, and Active service overseas totaling 449 days. Arthur served in New Guinea from January 1941.
When Arthur retired at Wagunyah he and Joy set off to do a trip around Australia. They made it to the Atherton Tablelands, where Arthur had spent time during his Army Service and that is where they remained, some of their children moving up to the same area. Arthur did many activities. He made wooden clocks, he faceted gemstones and made many beautiful pieces.

AWJ Fenn was known as Flap. His first wife, Nance passed away. Arthur and Nance had 4 children, Arthur Fenn who married Joy Cantwell. There are 7 children of Arthur and Joy who lived for many years in Atherton in Far North Queensland. Arthur had many funny and sad stories to tell about his military service during WW2. Arthur was in the 39th Australian Infantry Battalion in D Division. He fought in New Guinea and was in a convalescent camp at the end of the war. Arthur passed away in about June 2004 about 5 months after His and Joy's 50th wedding anniversary.
