In 2004 a New Zealand connection was made with Jim and Judith AITON, Judith is the daughter of one of the NZ Sullivan's ( Freda Agatha SULLIVAN). Jim and Judith live in a Melbourne suburb and have advised that they will supply information as soon as they get it prepared.

Daniel Sullivan (Red Cliffs, Vic) travelled to New Zealand to meet his cousins in August 2004, unfortunately Ian Sullivan died before Danny arrived in New Zealand and Danny attended his funeral. The same day Danny's wife died and Danny returned immediately to Australia. August 2004.

Probate was granted to-day to the will of Joseph Wakefield, of Inverleigh, carpenter. The testator appointed as his executors Alexander Maxwell, Church of England clergyman at Inverleigh, and Charles Sutton, of Boort, farmer. He gives Harriet Peel, the wife of George Peel, all his furniture and personal effects, together with £40 ; and £40 each to eight children of these people. He leaves £1500 to his three children in England, and gives £50 to be applied towards the cost of erecting the new Church of England, Inverleigh, the remainder of the property being left to George Peel. The estate is valued at £2415, all personal.

INVERLEIGH.
The late Mrs. Harriet Peel a very old and highly respected resident of Inverleigh passed away on Saturday night, being confined to her bed for the last six months at the advanced age of 90 years. Her funeral moved from her sons residence to the Church of England portion of the Inverleigh Cemetery on Monday afternoon. The coffin was borne from the hearse to the grave on the shoulders of Messrs T. W. F and C. Peel (sons and the pall was supported by Messrs E Peel (grandson), J Everett, W. Webster, T Alderson, J Costain, G Willsher, A, R, and J Venters, R Ritchie, W Berridge and W Amiet The Rev. Mr. Campbell, of the Church of England Inverleigh officiated and the funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. W. B. King and W. A. Goddard of Geelong.

At the time of Richard and Ann Elizabeth Morgan's marriage in 1850, Ann Elizabeth's father is given as Thomas Swindon, Sailor, unfortunately, there are no mothers names mentioned on the marriage certificate. Ann Elizabeth's address was given as 21 Wilmot Street, Bethnal Green and Richard's was given as 18 Willmot Street, Bethnal Green.

In the 1851 census, Ann was 22 years old and lived at 7 Mount Street, Bethnal, Green and her place of birth was given as Shoreham, Sussex.

Anne's death was registered under the name of Elizabeth Morgan. She was said to have been a domestic. She had 7 children, the youngest, Frances, was only 1 year old when she died.

Anne died in hospital in Melbourne and was buried at "New" Cemetery, Melbourne

The marriage of Mr Arthur Swindon, second son of Mr T. H. Swindon, Box Hill (of the Victorian Railways), with Miss Louie Lacey, second daughter of Mr A. J. Lacey, of Ascot Vale, took place at the Ascot Vale Presbyterian church on Wednesday, July 8, the Rev W. Fraser being the officiating clergyman. The bride was attired in white organdie muslin, val. lace insertion and orange blossoms, with customary wreath and veil, and carried a white bouquet. The bridesmaids were Miss Louie Eastwood and Miss Louie Swindon, who wore white muslin, trimmed with val. lace and embroidery, with chiffon at streamers and red geraniums, and carried crooks with red streamers, red geraniums, and asparagus fern. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr Alfred Lacey, the boat man being Mr W. T Roberts.

After the ceremony on adjournment was made to the Royal halI, Newmarket, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of and the usual felicitous speeches entered upon. Following this a social evening was held, when a very happy time was spent by the company, the bride and bridegroom taking their departure in the meantime for Sydney to spend their honeymoon. A large number of useful presents were received by the young couple, among which wore cheques from the bridgroom's brother and his sister and her husband, of Perth and Bunbury. W.A., also a nice travelling bag from his fellow Railway employees at Fern Tree Gully. Mr and Mrs Arthur Swindon have the best wishes of a large circle of friends, as well as this paper.
