Deaths.

GRAHAM. - On the 15th inst., at Walgett, New South Wales, John Ryrie Graham, sen., wool-classer (late of Pericoota-station), in his 74th year. Echuca papers please copy.

The Sydney Mail and New South Wales Advertiser (NSW : 1871 - 1912) Sat 28 Jul 1883 Page 175 JERILDERIE PASTORAL AND AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
We regret to hear that Mr. John Ryrie Graham, who for many years had been recognised as one of the most successful woolclassers in the colony, died on last Monday week, in the Walgett hospital. He had been following his occupation at Messrs. Wright, Heaton, and Co.'s Dumble station, on the Bokhira, when he was seized with an apoplectic fit, followed by paralysis, from which he never recovered. The deceased received every possible attention at the commencement of his illness, and was ultimately forwarded to Walgett, in order to obtain the best medical aid procurable in the district. The late John Ryrie Graham, some 10 or 12 years ago, compiled a useful book on merino sheep breeding in Australia; while he was long and favourably known as a wool expert throughout the whole extent of Riverina.
